What were you doing before Gridcog and what got you into the energy space?
I’ve been in Marketing for around seven years, and I’ve spent the last four to five years specialising in social media, content and event marketing at a variety of B2B tech companies. The energy space is actually brand new to me, but I’m very excited to be working within a sector that strives for the betterment of the environment through innovative tech!
What is your role at Gridcog?
I’ve joined as the Brand and Content Associate. I’ll be producing video content designed to educate the market on the clean energy transition and how Gridcog helps to accelerate this for businesses, in addition to raising Gridcog’s profile through social media, digital campaigns and in-person events.
What attracted you to working with Gridcog?
Firstly, the role ticked all the boxes for me; I have loved videography, photography and editing for many years and to put these skills and passions to use creating beautiful looking content to tell the Gridcog story sounded ideal.
The Gridcog mission and culture sealed the deal though. The culture instilled at the company, the mission it’s on, and the strong foundations set by co-founders Pete and Fabian told me that Gridcog is on a really exciting journey, and I wanted to help play a key part in driving its growth and success.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I love the world of music; whether that’s playing guitar, producing my own songs, or following my favourite bands and artists at shows in London. When I get the opportunity I love photographing live gigs - most recently shooting Kacey Musgraves at the Roundhouse in Camden.
I enjoy going to the gym and running, and having completed my first half marathon this year, a full marathon is next on my bucket list as I turn 30!
What technology could you not live without?
Those daily commutes, long train journeys and flights would be unbearable without Spotify to be honest!
